How to Remove Write Protection From Pendrive or Memory Card?

Step 1

    Now Search For the Following Registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies

Note - If the Above Registry Doesn’t exist don’t worry Just download this File and Run the Add.bat file and Key will be created automatically in Your Windows Registry – Download the Key

    Here Double Click on the Write Protect Key in Right Window Pane and Initialize it with Value 0 as shown below

    Close the Registry and Restart Your PC

    Connect Your USB Pendrive or SD Memory Card and Enjoy Copying or Moving Files to Your Pendrive or Memory Card.

    That’s all and You are all done.

Note - Though this Method is a Working Solution to Remove Write Protection from USB Devices but still for most of the Users it didn’t worked so don’t worry so you can try the Following alternative Solutions.
Solution – 2 : By Low Level Formatting

You can Also Try this method by Completely Formatting Your USB Pendrive and Again Partitioning and Reallocating the Storage Space to the Pendrive Similar to the Process when You Connect a Fresh HDD having unallocated space.Please Read Disclaimer below before try the below given procedure.

    Now Format Your USB Pendrive or SD Card Using the Above Software.

    After Formating Open RUN Dialog box and Type diskmgmt.msc and Press Enter.

    Here in the Disk Management Just Find Your Pendrive or SD Card and Reallocate the Space and Format it similar to HDD Partitioning Process.

    That’s all and You are all done.

Alternatively : Download theApacer Formatting Utility and Unzip it and Run the Start.bat File while Your USB Pendrive or SD Card is plugged in.Wait for a few seconds till your Pendrive is formatted and after that Reconnect it and Enjoy Copying Files to Your Pendrive or Memory Card.
Solution 3 : For Transcend Pendrive or Memory Card Only

    Download the Online Recovery Tool From Hereand Run the JetFlash Online Recovery Tool.

    Connect Your Pendrive or Memory Card and Mention its Capacity in the Tool.

    Now Choose From the Options “Repair and Erase all data” OR ” Repair and Keep existing data”
