When your pretending to write down the first answer, just do a little scribble and quietly turn the page so they think you are actually writing an answer down.
Distract the person with your hand movements and gestures so that he does not catch you writing.
Go to a fresh page in your notebook and fold it back.

Tricks to increase internet speed:

i) Bandwidth reservation (only in Windows XP and Vista)

1. Click on “start” on your taskbar and click run option (shortcut key – windows button + R).

2. Type gpedit.msc and press enter. It will open a window of “Local group Policy”.

3. Then expand the following keys on your left:

- Local Computer Policy.

- Computer configuration.

- Administration Templates.

- Network.

- QoS Packet Scheduler.

- Limit Reservable Bandwidth.

4. Click on Limit Reservable Bandwidth. It will open a new window.

5. By default, “not configured” option will be selected. An operating system reserves 20% for its updation process. Click on “enable” option and set bandwidth limit (%) to 0. Now, you will get the entire speed for your surfing.

ii) Open DNS method

You can use open DNS in order to increase internet speed on Windows. There are several advantage also in using Open DNS. It protects your IP address from hacking attacks and infections. But you need to update this process in a week.

1. Open Control Panel of your system and go to

- “Network sharing center” or “View network status”.

- Search for network connection.

- click on Properties.

- Search for Internet protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).

- Click on properties once again.

- Enter 208.67.222.222 in “preferred DNS server” and 208.67.222.220 in “Alternate DNS server”.

- Now, exit the window bar.

2. Now, press windows button + R.

3. Type ipconfig/flushdns in the “Run” windows. The method of Open DNS is now configured and completed.

At first, disable your antivirus program. Now follow these steps:

1. Go to “Run” command and then type “temp”. A temp folder will appear in your screen. (without quotes).

2. Select all files (shortcut key – ctrl + A).

3. Delete all files.

4. Now, go to “Run” command again and type “%temp%” and press enter.

5. Select all files and delete it.

6. Again go to “Run” command and type “netsh winsock reset”. A windows comes and goes.

7. Open “Run” command again, type “netsh int ip resetlog.txt”. Again a windows comes and goes.

8. Then go to your web browser, click on tools-Internet option-delete cookies and files. Press OK.

9. Restart your system manually. Then enable your antivirus program.

Type DISKPART and press enter.
Type LIST DISK and press enter. This will show all the drives available in your system. Find the Disk number of your pen drive. In my case, it is Disk 1. There can be different disk no. of your USB pen drive depending on your no. of drives.
Type SELECT DISK 1 and press enter.
Type CLEAN and then press enter.
Type CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY and press enter.
Type SELECT PARTITION 1 and press enter.
Type ACTIVE and then press enter.
Type FORMAT FS=NTFS and press enter. Wait till the processing becomes 100% complete. Do not do anything until it becomes 100% or else it may create problems or errors.
Type ASSIGN and then press enter.
Type EXIT and press enter.
Your USB pen drive has successfully become bootable and is now ready to use. You just need to copy and paste all the files of Windows 7 or 8 files in the pen drive.

After copying the files, you can boot a new windows in your laptop or format your PC through this easily.
NOTE (Precautions):

Before making bootable USB pen drive, do make sure that you are using only one pen drive at this time.
Please make sure that your CAPS LOCK is on before typing anything in the command prompt otherwise it will not detect the commands properly.
Before installing the windows, set your system as BOOT FROM USB in your BIOS settings otherwise you will not able to boot from Pen drive. To go to BIOS settings, restart your system and press a function key from f1….f12 depending on the configuration of your system. Usually, it is f8, f9 or f10.
This procedure is only for Windows 7 and 8 and is not compatible for Windows XP.

You’ll find live tiles in the start menu for the apps such as news, sports, maps etc. which use internet each and every time you connect to internet. So, go to start >>right click on the live tile>>click  Turn live tile off.

Windows 8 updates more than any other version of windows. It starts downloading updates whenever you connect to the internet. Windows 8 generally doesn’t need any driver to run any program. So, you have to change the Windows Update settings to reduce the data usage. Go to Control Panel and change the Windows Update settings to ‘Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them’. You can later on download the updates at once.

There are many background processes which uses a lot of packet data (e.g. background software update or download). So, you have to turn off all those background processes. For that, open Task Manager >> Click More details >> Click Services tab >> Click Open Services in the bottom (Services window will open) >> in the new window right click Background Intelligent Transfer and Stop it >>then select Properties >> select Startup type: Disabled >> Click OK.

1. Click on "Start" in the bottom left hand corner of screen
2. Click on "Run"
3. Type in "command" and hit ok

You should now be at an MSDOS prompt screen.

4. Type "ipconfig /release" just like that, and hit "enter"
5. Type "exit" and leave the prompt
6. Right-click on "Network Places" or "My Network Places" on your desktop.
7. Click on "properties"

You should now be on a screen with something titled "Local Area Connection", or something close to that, and, if you have a network hooked up, all of your other networks.

8. Right click on "Local Area Connection" and click "properties"
9. Double-click on the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" from the list under the "General" tab
10. Click on "Use the following IP address" under the "General" tab
11. Create an IP address (It doesn't matter what it is. I just type 1 and 2 until i fill the area up).
12. Press "Tab" and it should automatically fill in the "Subnet Mask" section with default numbers.
13. Hit the "Ok" button here
14. Hit the "Ok" button again

You should now be back to the "Local Area Connection" screen.

15. Right-click back on "Local Area Connection" and go to properties again.
16. Go back to the "TCP/IP" settings
17. This time, select "Obtain an IP address automatically"

1)Open CMD and type this Command: prompt $t

That changes the DOS prompt to the current time, we will need this to calculate the time it takes to execute any DOS command

2) Now run This command : nslookup www.google.com 125.22.47.125

Where 208.67.222.222 is the standard IP address of OpenDNS server,  8.8.8.8  is the standard IP address of  Google Public DNS

You can find the time takes to resolve the address by calculating the difference between the two timestamps. So you can choose Less time stamp ip address that will be best for you.

       2. Now type in telnet as shown below and press enter.



       3. After that enter o as shown below and press enter.



       4. Next enter towel.blinkenlights.nl as shown below and press enter.

HOW TO RESET ADMIN PASSWORD?

1. Open the command prompt (Start -> Run -> type cmd -> Enter).



2. Now type "net user" in command prompt and hit Enter.



Now the system will show you a list of user accounts on the computer. Say for example, you need to reset the password of the account by name asy, then do as follows:

3.Type "net user asy *" and hit Enter. Now, the system will ask you to enter the new password for the account.

Press enter twice. That's it. Now you've successfully reset the password for asy without knowing his old password. So, in this way you can reset the password of any Windows account at times when you forget it so that you need not re-install your OS for any reason.



Also if you are unable to start your Pc because you just forgot or Missed your Password then just restart your PC and click f8 Continously so that Different options are displayed on your screen now just choose safe mode from list and press enter. And after it just follow the above trick and restart you PC. Congrats !!! Your Password is now Reset.

माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ने बार्सिलोना में हुए मोबाइल वर्ल्ड कांग्रेस में इसी वर्ष लूमिया 640 व लूमिया 640 एक्सएल रिलीज किया था। अब कंपनी 7 अप्रैल को आयोजित होने वाले एक इवेंट के लिए इनवाइट भेज रहा है। इनवाइट में फोन के इमेज की तस्वीर नहीं है इसके बदले एक टैगलाइन है। लूमिया 640 में 5 इंच की स्क्रीन के साथ 1280 गुणा 720 पिक्सल रेजोल्यूशन व 400 क्वाड-कोर चिपसेट है। मल्टीटास्किंग कामों के लिए फोन 1 जीबी रैम के साथ आया है। मेमोरी के लिए इसमें 8 जीबी का इंटरनल स्टोरेज है जिसे माइक्रोएसडी कार्ड के सहारे बढ़ाया जा सकता है। लूमिया 8.7 मेगापिक्सल प्राइमरी कैमरा व 0.9 मेगापिक्सल के सेकेंडरी कैमरे के साथ आया है। यह फोन डुअल सिम स्लॉट व एलटीइ कनेक्टीविटी के साथ आया है। इसमें एनएफसी, वाइ-फाइ और ब्लूटूथ जैसे बेसिक ऑप्शन हैं। यह विंडोज फोन 8.1 पर चलता है जिसे जल्द ही विंडोज 10 से अपग्रेड किया जाएगा। कंपनी ने डिवाइस की कीमत के बारे में कोई जानकारी नहीं दी है पर अनुमान है कि यह 10,000 रुपये के करीब होगा। लूमिया 640 एक्सएल 5.7 इंच के स्क्रीन के साथ आया है जिसमें 640 की तरह ही एचडी रेजोल्यूशन है। इसमें 13 एमपी का रियर व 5 एमपी का फ्रंट कैमरा है। ये दोनों ही लेटेस्ट स्मार्टफोन लांच इवेंट के बाद फ्लिपकार्ट पर उपलब्ध हो जाएगा।

सभी माता-पिता के लिए खुशखबरी है! अब आप अपने जान से भी प्यारे बच्चों या फिर 13 साल से नीचे के बच्चों की तस्वीरें फेसबुक के नये फीचर 'स्क्रैपबुक' की मदद से एक साथ एक ही जगह अपलोड कर सकते हैं। 13 साल से नीचे की उम्र के बच्चे फेसबुक में साइन-अप नहीं कर सकते है, इसलिए उन्हें टैग भी नहीं किया जा सकता, लेकिन फेसबुक ने इस परेशानी को समझा और मंगलवार को स्क्रैपबुक के रूप में एक नए फीचर की जानकारी दी, जो आईओएस, एंड्रायड और डेस्कटॉप के साथ प्राइवेट एल्बम के रूप में या फिर आपके निजी फेसबुक दोस्तों के साथ शेयर की जा सकती है।

फेसबुक ने बताया कि स्क्रैपबुक पैरेंट्स को 13 साल से नीचे के बच्चों की तस्वीरें इकट्ठा कर एक केन्द्रीय स्थान पर आर्गेनाइज करने की अनुमति देती है, इसमें आप अपने बच्चों के लिए एक खास टैग बना सकते हैं। केवल जो पैरेंट्स फेसबुक के रिलेशनशिप सेक्शन से जुड़े होगें, बस वही फोटोज डाल सकते हैं या प्राइवेसी सेटिंग चेंज कर सकते हैं। दरअसल जब भी कोई अपने नवजात बच्चों की तस्वीरें फेसबुक पर अपलोड करता है, तो वो सब तरफ बिखर जाती है। उनके लिए एक अलग से एल्बम की खास जरुरत महसूस हो रही थी।

फेसबुक ऐसा तरीका निकालने की पूरी कोशिश कर रह है जिससे स्क्रैपबुक एक पूरे प्रोफाइल में बदल जाए। अधिकारी ने बताया कि हर कोई जो फेसबुक पर है, उसे खुद अपनी पहचान पर नियंत्रण रखना चाहिए। वो चाहे तो स्क्रैपबुक को निजी रख सकते हैं। यदि वे इसे हटाना चाहते हैं, तो हटा सकते हैं या चाहे तो और पब्लिक का ऑप्शन चुन सकते हैं। यानि पूरी तरह इस स्क्रैपबुक पर आपका खुद का नियंत्रण होगा।

ट्विटर व गूगल प्लस के मुकाबले फेसबुक के यूजर्स हैं ज्‍यादा एक्टिव

ग्लोबल वेब इंडेक्स द्वारा छपी रिपोर्ट के अनुसार 2014 के अन्त तक 10 में से 7 इंटरनेट यूजर्स ने खुद को सोशल नेटवर्क यूजर बताया। इस दौरान फेसबुक यूजर्स ने साइट को सबसे ज्यादा और जल्दी- जल्दी इस्तेमाल किया। वे बार- बार अपने दोस्तों की हालिया पोस्ट को पढ़ने और लाइक करने के लिए गए।

वैसे 73% ने उस सर्वें में कहा कि वे फेसबुक पर महीने में एक बार जाते हैं। केवल उनमें से 42% का कहना था कि वे फेसबुक पर एक्टिव रहते हैं। 36% ने कहा कि वे ट्विटर का प्रयोग करते हैं, 29% ने कहा कि वे गूगल प्लस और 25% ने बताया कि वे लिंक्डइन पर जाते रहे है पिछले 30 दिनों में। अगर योगदान की दृष्टि से देखा जाएं, तो केवल 22% जवाबदेह यूजर ही टि्वटर पर अपनी पोस्ट डालते रहे थे, 21% गूगल प्लस पर और 13% लिंक्डइन पर।

यद्धपि सोशल नेटवर्क यूजर्स अक्सर कम से कम दो घंटे साइटस पर बिताते है। कुछ को औरों से ज्यादा इस्तेमाल करने की लत लग जाती है। उदाहरण के लिए 75% के करीब एक्टिव फेसबुक यूजर्स ने बताया कि वे साइट पर रोजाना एक बार लॉग्ड इन जरूर करते हैं। इतना ही नहीं यूट्यूब, गूगूल प्लस, टि्वटर और इंस्टाग्राम के बहुसंख्यक यूजर्स भी इन मंचों का प्रयोग एक दिन में एक बार जरूर करते हैं। जबकि टम्बलर, लिंक्डइन और पिंटारेस्ट पर सबसे ज्यादा एक्टिव रहने वाले यूजर्स भी हफ्ते में कम से कम एक बार जरूर जाते हैं।

फेसबुक वो सोशल नेटवर्क साइट है, जहां संभवत: यूजर्स उन लेखों को पढ़ना ज्यादा पसंद है जो न्यूज फीड में पोस्ट किये जाते हैं। 45% गूगल प्लस यूजर्स के और 42% टि्वटर यूजर्स की तुलना में 53% फेसबुक यूजर्स ने कहा कि पिछले 30 दिनों में उन्होंने कम से कम एक आर्टिकल या लेख जरूर पढ़ा। फेसबुक वो मंच भी है, जहां इंटरनेट का प्रयोग करने वाले कंटेट पर अपनी सहमति सबसे ज्यादा दिखाते हैं। सर्वें के अनुसार उनमें से 70% लाइक बटन का प्रयोग फेसबुक पर एक महीने में एक बार जरूर करते हैं, तुलना में उन 33% के, जो प्लस1 फीचर का प्रयोग गूगल प्लस पर और मैसेज रिट्वीट करते हैं टि्वटर पर।

आखिर में, सोशल नेटवर्किंग के लिए मोबाइल एप की लोकप्रियता बढने के बावजूद भी पर्सनल कम्प्यूटर अब भी साइट पर जाने के लिए प्रमुख डिवाइस के रूप में प्रयोग हो रहे हैं। 40% स्मार्टफोन का प्रयोग करने वालों और 20% टेबलेट का प्रयोग करने वालों की तुलना में 60% यूजर ने कहा कि वे अब भी एक महीने में एक बार पीसी से लॉग्ड इन करते हैं।

ये स्टडी ग्लोबल वेबइंडेक्स द्वारा की गई है, जिन्होंने विश्व के 32 देशो में 16 से 64 उम्र वाले 40,000 इंटरनेट यूजर्स पर सर्वें किया था।

फेसबुक का रिफ फीचर, दोस्‍तों के साथ बनाएं विडियो

फेसबुक ने नया एप्लीकेशन रिफ रिलीज किया है। इसके द्वारा दोस्तों के साथ विडियो बनायी जा सकती है चाहे वे दूर शहरों में क्यों न बसे हों। वीडियो के लिए आपको एक क्लिप बनाना होगा जो कम से कम 20 सेकेंड का हो और इसमें यह पता चले कि विडियो किस बारे में है, इसके बाद आप इसे रिफ पर पोस्ट कर दें। इस एप्लीकेशन का उपयोग करने वाला प्रत्येक यूजर इसे मुफ्त में देख सकता है, लेकिन केवल आपके दोस्त ही उसमें विडियो क्लिप जोड़ सकते हैं।

विडियोज बनाने का ये अनोखा आइडिया काफी अच्छे क्लिपस को एक साथ इकट्ठा कर आकर्षक विडियो बनाएगा।

उदाहरण के लिए एक बर्थडे विडियो को नये क्ल्प्सि जोड़ कर बेहतर बनाया जा सकता है। इस एप में कुछ फीचर हो चुके विडियोज जैसे- ‘एन अमेरिकन इन पेरिस बैकस्टेज’ और ‘एडवेंचर्स ऑफ मिस्टर बनाना’ वायरल हो चुका है।

फेसबुक का नया फीचर ‘रिफ’ क्ल्प्सि का एक मिक्सचर है, जिसमें और भी वीडियो जोड़े जा सकते हैं और इसे वायरल किया जा सकता है।

फेसबुक द्वारा लांच इस एप लॉन्च से आप वीडियो तो बना ही सकते साथ ही इसमें आपके फ्रेंड्स भी अपनी वीडियो जोड़ सकते हैं। ये एप फेसबुक चैट थ्रैड के रूप में काम करेगा।

इस एप के अंतर्गत आप वीडियो बनाकर अपने फ्रेंड का इसमें टैग करके वीडियो का वायरल कर सकते हैं। ये वीडियो किसी एक टॉपिक पर बनी होगी। जिसमें अन्य दोस्त अपनी वीडियो जोड़ कर वायरल कर सकते हैं। जैसे ही आपकी वीडियो में आपको कोई फ्रेंड अपनी वीडियो जोड़ेगा, वैसे ही आपके फ्रेंड के फ्रेंड्स को वह वीडियो दिखने लगेगी।

What is Ransomware?

'Ransomware' is a type of malware that attempts to extort money from a computer user by infecting and taking control of the victim's machine, or the files or documents stored on it. Typically, the ransomware will either 'lock' the computer to prevent normal usage, or encrypt the documents and files on it to prevent access to the saved data.

The ransom demand will then be displayed, usually either via a text file or as a webpage in the web browser. This type of malware leverages the victim's surprise, embarrassment and/or fear to push them into paying the ransom demanded.

Ransomware may arrive as part of another malware's payload, or may be delivered by an exploit kit such as Blackhole, which exploits vulnerabilities on the affected computer to silently install and execute the malware.


'Police-themed' ransomware

Though earlier ransomware samples we saw tended to be simple, blatant attempts at extortion, recent ones have been more subtle in design. In 2012, we saw multiple instances of 'police-themed' ransomware that cunningly disguise their ransom demands as official-looking warning messages from a local law enforcement agency.

The language used and the specific authority mentioned vary depending on the user's geographical location. Most of the police-themed ransomware seen so far targeted Western European countries, notably France, Germany, Finland and Italy.

The specific text of the ransom messages vary, but generally follow the same pattern - they claim that the user's computer is 'locked' after the police identified it as being used to visit websites related to terrorism or abuse and that payment of a 'fine' is required to settle the 'offense'. The amount of the supposed fine varies, and directions for paying it via anonymous, untraceable disposable cashcards are included.

In almost all cases, payment of the ransom still does not restore the computer to normal use. As such, we strongly recommend that no payment be made and that the user report the incident to the proper local authorities.


Removing 'police-themed' ransomware

We detect police-themed ransomware with multiple detections, including Trojan:W32/Reveton, Trojan:W32/Ransom and generics.

If 'police-themed' ransomware is installed on the system, it can be removed using a downloadable removal tool. For infections by Trojan:W32/Reveton and Trojan:W32/Urausy variants, manual removal is also possible.

Automatic Removal

In most cases, F-Secure's Online Scanner removal tool is able to remove the ransomeware, restoring normal access to the system.


Manual Removal

Caution: Manual disinfection is a risky process; it is recommended only for advanced users. Otherwise, please seek professional technical assistance.

Trojan:W32/Reveton and Trojan:W32/Urausy variants may also be manually removed from the machine, using the following instructions:

    Boot the system into 'Safe Mode with Command Prompt.' To do so:
         First, restart the system (Click Start, then Shut Down, select Restart in the drop-down dialog box that appears, then click OK).
        As the computer restarts but before Windows launches, press F8.
        Use the arrow keys to highlight 'Safe Mode with Command Prompt' and then press Enter.

    In the command prompt, type "regedit" and press Enter.

    Look for the following registry values and remove them.
        For Reveton, delete the "ctfmon.exe" registry value from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run


        For Urausy, delete the "shell" registry value from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon ONLY IF these two conditions are met:
            The "shell" registry value is located under HKEY_CURRENT_USER and NOT HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

            WARNING! Deleting the "shell" value if it is listed under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE may break the Windows system.
            There is a reference to a .dat file (e.g. skype.dat) in the value data.
    Reboot the system again, this time into Normal mode.
    Finally, run a full computer scan to repair any remaining files
