How to Perform the Disappearing Coin Illusion?

Make a coin disappear into thin air! This illusion is great if it can be pulled off properly.

1Sit down at a table opposite a spectator[s]

1Place a coin on the table; any small coin will do.

2Slide your left hand back towards you as if you are picking up the coin.

3Instead of picking up the coin, knock it back into your lap.

4Quickly, make a fist and pretend the coin is in there.

5Pretend to pass the coin to your right hand. This will confuse your spectator further.

6Blow on your right hand, then open it, the coin is magically gone!

7If/when your spectator says that it is in the other hand, open the other hand to show that the coin has disappeared into thin air.

Tips
Practice alternating between really picking up the coin and pretending. Practice so that from the spectator's point of view, there is no difference.

 Warnings
Make sure it hits your lap, not the floor, because it might make a noise and they will figure it out.
If you are using someone else's money, give it back later on. Otherwise, they will probably be mad.
